I taught the book of Philemon and many were so excited to hear the story of Onesimus who was once a slave and later became a free in Jesus Christ.
This coming Friday am going to preach the gospel in Mozambique , Ntengula province.
I’ll leave Lilongwe for Nkhotakota to get a ship. I’ll meet the other three preachers right there. What happened was that a certain fisherman baptized while at Nkhotakota and then he moved to Mozambique which is the eastern side of Lake Malawi . Unfortunately he found none of the church there. That’s why he called us to help him so that some may be baptized and a new church could be established.
But a big challenge is that we need to find everything for ourselves since there’s no church. And that fisherman can’t host us because they live in a group under one head who manages their daily food depending on how much they have got at that day.
Another challenge is that we will not shops nearby, because of a civil war which took many years in Mozambique, trading centers are very far away. Which means we will have problem to find some things needed.
Therefore pray for us as God just said “Go” and preach the gospel everywhere (Matthew 28:18-20). So will be updating you how thing will be going on.
NOTE: I think that it is great the this good brother is spreading the Gospel with his meager funds. If you can help him or his school, let me know. Chad
Recently, Brother Chunga has been running a small preacher school out of the congregation he has been working with primarily. Although he had asked for the students to raise funds and food for their study, many of them were not able to. Forced with closure, Brother Chunga reached out to me. I am thankful that I had a congregation who was able to help this school stay open. Chad

Last Sunday I preached to a quite wonderful group of people who sacrificed themselves to worship God under the tree with no problem. This is a new church some where in the district of Nkhotskota which is at a distance of about 40 km from Nkhotakota Boma going to the south. These brethren are very dedicated and once they believed, they started worshiping under the trees while there looking a place to build their church building.
So I encouraged them that Jesus needs our pure hearts whether in a good building or not. And many people are being baptized almost weekly. Coming out from denominations with good infrastructures. That’s wonderful.
This coming month of October we suppose to have our last session at Nkhotakota Bible school. But we’ve got a big challenge that the food contributed has finished. But there some students who are finishing their second year and they supposed to graduate by the end of October.
So we are stranded since school opens on 2nd of October. May I please pray for us so that we may achieve our goal of teaching people the true message of God without such hindrances. May God bless you as your are interceding for us.
Today we had three baptisms at Dzama in Namitete area, Lilongwe rural west. Some people from various congregations gathered including some out siders. It was a single day gospel meeting whereby 788 + people attended.
Four people have been baptized and six reconciled. The following pics show what happened.
