On Sunday October 13, I worshipped at Ikot Odiong were I preached the sermon and a Soul was restored to Christ as he confessed to his sin and ask for prayers of the saints. The church also meet after worship for planning on our forthcoming Bible Seminar /Evangelism in January 2020.

On same Sunday October 13, Two (2 ) Obeyed the Gospel and baptized into Christ at Ikot Osute.

Again, same October 13, another Two (2) precious souls obeyed the Gospel and baptized into Christ at Ata Essien Obio Akpa village.

On Sunday October 20, I worshipped at Ikot Akpa Idem church my home village and place of birth, there I preached the sermon and teach the adult Bible class.

On Sunday October 27, I and my wife worshipped at Ikot Ideh village church in Ukanafun and preached the sermon, if not for the fact that I went along with a bottle of Communion Wine and Bread there would have been no Lord’s table on that day since they run out of their own.

It was indeed great working for the Lord in obedience to the Great Commission. Thank you for being part of our labor for Christ.

Denominational Preacher’s Wife Converted

Greetings to you and all my brothers and sisters at the Shackle Island church of Christ, pray this short reports meet you well.

God has added 2 Souls to Christ kingdom today as we (Ukanafun  Evangelism Team) embark on door knocking Evangelism at Ikot Anta Eneng Obom were the denominational Preacher who baptized into Christ last came from on a follow-up mission to preach to his family, Members of his denominational set and friends .

One of the convert is the denominational women leader who is the wife to Ubokutom Luke who obeyed the gospel last week during our Bible Seminar /Evangelism at Ata Essien Obio Akpa village.

When “Gift Ubokutom”  heard the real Gospel, she obeyed and baptized into Christ,

Because she had marked many things in her Bible promoting denominationalism, I now presented a new Bible to help her new faith.

She is a mother of 5 children and last 2 are twin babies. See photos.

The second convert is Esther a young students who also obeyed the Gospel.

Others we preached to during the door to door Evangelism campaign  promise to attend  church service tomorrow and we pray they obey the gospel. Even the disabled came out to hear our preaching as the entire community went agog for Ubokutom Luke and wife Gift decision to quit their exalted worldly dignified position of a Reverend Pastor.

This is the multiplier effects of our last week Evangelism campaigns at Ata Essien Obio Akpa village which was triggered by the Bible Seminar /Evangelism and Free Eye Test /Glasses the Shackle Island church of Christ supported at Ikot Akpan Eyo early this year.

Pray for Ubokutom Luke and wife Gift for their decision to quit denominationalism for Christ and pray also to his denominational members to follow his step.

Pray for me and my coworkers.

Pray for my health and that of my wife,  we are down in health. But Lord willing, I will be with the newly planted church at Ata Essien Obio Akpa village tomorrow as many promised to come.

Idol Worshiper destroys his Idols

Today is another landmark in my ministry despite challenges in my health. God has been so gracious to using our little efforts to impact greatly in Christ kingdom in Nigeria. Thank you so much for being there for us. God bless you all.

I hired someone to take me to worship at our newest planted church at Ata Essien Obio Akpa village, on arriving there I made some visitations and 17 people turned up for worship as I preached on the topic “CHRIST AND HIS CHURCH” .

A young man (Ofonbuk  Udom) accepted the Gospel and baptized into Christ.

The converted Mormonism (Mr Akpan  Nnah) I mentioned in my last reports did exactly what happens to Apostle Paul at Ephesus in Acts of the Apostle chapter 19 when many who practice magic art brought their together to be burnt.  Mr. Nnah confessed that he has charms and other Idolatrous items/African Traditional Religious Pots and he is the keeper of his ancestry shrine as well as some Mormonism books.

IN HIS STATEMENT , HE ASKED :

Mr Nnah : What shall I do to be free?

Mojima : Believed in Christ with all your heart and repent from your sins of idolatry. Acts 2:37.

Mr Nnah : Are you assuring me that I will not be harm by the gods?

Mojima : No!  I took him to Acts of the Apostle chapter 19. But you must not go back to this evil practices.

Mr Nnah : Will you expose me to the whole  community?

Mojima : No, but your conduct in the community after this exercise must reflect the Gospel of Christ,  Philippians 1:27.

Mr Nnah : Let Us go to my house.

On getting to his house, he took me to his bed room and brought an object in the form of a calabash and some books from Joseph Smith of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saint. As we proceed to the river for the baptism of the convert we had today, I ask Mr Nnah to come with us, on getting there he denounced and we prayed and destroy same and throws away.

He Mr Nnah again said he has other similar objects in his ancestors shrine which he is the keeper and he is ready to denounced all with his family, promising to take us there on Sunday.

We need your prayers for God to preserve Mr Nnah from his decision to quit idolatry through our Gospel and pray for me and my teammates for more grace to serve Him as carry out this tedious for Christ at Ata Essien Obio Akpa village.

I am optimistic that the newly planted church at Ata Essien Obio Akpa village will make progress in soul winning,  We are praying for a Preacher who will serve the church but today two (2) of our students (Uyouko Umana Josiah and Nkereuwem George) both teach the Adult and Children Bible class while I preached the sermon.

Thank you so much for your generosity and continue support to me and my teammates for Christ and His church, God bless you and yours.

More Kingdom Harvest

Two Souls (Mr Ubokutom Luke & Akpan Monday) obeyed the Gospel and baptized into Christ yesterday during our Day One WBS Seminar /Evangelism at Ata Essien Obio Akpa village and its neighboring Villages by Ukanafun World Bible School Evangelism Team.

Like the Philippian Jailer who obeyed the gospel in the night preached by Paul and Silas, Mr. Akpan Monday responded to our sermon on the topic “SALVATION IN CHRIST” at 9.00pm  and was taken to the river same night.

Mr Ubokutom Luke was a denominational Preacher and was caught up by our Gospel when I preached Christ and His church to him. His conversion story is very interesting, detailed story ahead.

Still in the field at Ata Essien Obio Akpa village and its neighboring villages with our Ukanafun WBS Evangelism Team.

Pray for more fruit as the church hopes to meet for the first time there for worship on Sunday, September 1, 2019

More ahead…

February 2018 Mission Report from Mojima Etokudo, Nigeria

Greetings to you in Christ precious name, hope this mail meet you well.

The month of February 2018 was very hectic, challenging and fruitful
in my ministry.

foundation to a reception at the Nigerian Christian Bible College

On Wednesday February 7 Still at the WBS Great Workshop, I have an
encounter of the WORD with the denominational church FOUNDER “Pastor
Umoke Nicodemus” of Living Christ Ministry who obeyed the gospel and I
baptized him into Christ witness by many at the Great Workshop.

Again same day February 7, I preached to Mrs Peace Morris who also
obeyed the Gospel this time around 7.00pm and the brethren there lead
us to the river and I baptized her into Christ.

On Thursday February 8, still at the WBS Great Workshop during the

the Gospel through the collective efforts of the participants at the
Great Workshop.

In all at the 2018 WBS Great Workshop at Abakaliki, a total of seven

On Saturday February 10, I and my co laborers who slept in my house
went on a follow up mission of a Deaconess of a Full Gospel church
denomination whose husband has been a Christian for over twelve (12)

On Sunday February 25, I and my family worshipped at Ikot Akpan Eyo
were I preached the sermon. It was so refreshing as many asked
questions about the New Testament church and Bible answers was given.

The Ukanafun WBS Evangelism Team and the students of the Nigerian
Christian College of Evangelism (NCCE) Ukanafun did so well in the
preaching of Christ using different methods which includes :
* Door to door Evangelism
* Open air evangelism
* Tract distributions
* WBS enrollments
* WBS students follow up
* WBS /Bible Seminars
* Food/Clothing for Needy distribution
* Visitations etc.

Pray for more of His grace and strength on us all to do more for
Christ and His church.

Pray for our newly planted congregations as day by day souls are added
to Christ for them to grow and become mature in the faith.

Pray for our Free Preacher’s training school the “Nigerian Christian
College of Evangelism (NCCE) Ukanafun who has laboured for 3 years now
training men for the kingdom, our students serves in our newly planted
congregations and most of our denominational pastors convert are
trained to know the proper way to divide the Word of Truth. NCCE is
purely self sponsored.

Pray for the following challenges :

We need Mega Phones used with battery to help our team and the newly
planted congregations in the rural areas carry out her out door
Evangelism campaigns.

Pray for mobility for my co laborers serving in the newly planted
congregations to help with their Evangelism, visitations and follow up
etc.

We plan to hold a WBS Seminar At Ikot Osute Village this March to
strengthen the newly fast growing congregation, pray for success.

With the advent of Seven (7) newly planted congregations between
2013-2017 through our efforts, I plan to have the following :

* Preachers support fund
* Land purchase /church building fund.

My vision here is as God blessed our efforts day by day and churches
are planted through our efforts, we need finances to support preachers
who labour to keep the Souls as I can not do the work alone and my
family size is growing, my children school fees and other things, also
when churches start and grow, the need to be in her permanent land and
building become necessary as worshipping in someone’s house for too
long does not encourage many who do not understand the church to come
in and it doesn’t give the church Independence if the owner of the
house who housed the church is not acting the way of the Lord etc.

So my idea here is if these Preachers support and Land purchase
/church building fund has God’s approval, then we can manage whatever
little we had as His grace reaches us to take care of this needs as I
can’t stop preaching the Gospel, baptizing those who obeyed and can’t
also stop planting new congregations when need arises but it requires
Barnabas a little monthly or quarterly financial support to keep the
work until they become mature in faith. So please share this idea with
the saints and if this seems to offend you or any, my apologies.

Thank you for your prayers which has really payoff. God bless you and
your endeavors.

Our prayers continues with you for successful endeavors till we meet
at the eternal home in Heaven, while praying for an opportunity to
meet with you again and again in God’s mission field here Lord willing
to continue working together for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Again, thank you and God bless.

In Christ,
Mojima Etokudo
