Greetings in the Precious name of Jesus Christ.
The Nigerian Institute Of Arts And Theological Studies/Bear Valley Bible Institute (NIATS/BVBI) community is on vacation now to resume academic activities next month (October). Before their second semester exams, both the staff and students went on a three-day evangelism outreach at Afikpo in Ebonyi state. The outing was intensive but there was no immediate baptisms. Some prospects (three persons) attended the worship.
The 2023/2024 academic session will take off from next month (October). We have conducted the first entrance examination and have arranged for a supplementary exam in order to get more candidates.
The Board has approved a weekend program to accommodate those who did not have the time for the regular system. A preliminary program has also been approved to take care of those who are deficient in their entry requirements.
This is our effort to find a way to remove the impediments before many of the brethren who have the zeal to serve as a gospel minister.
The 2023 NIATS annual lectureship is slated for the 14th to the 16th of December. In order to save on costs, the Board has decided to shift the graduation to next year as we have only 7 students this year.
The pictures are as follows:
The first – the Director preaching at the burial of one elderly sister who died at the age of 95 years. The second and third the evangelism outreach at Afikpo. The fourth picture- the NIATS/BVBI students taking their second semester exams. The fifth and sixth pictures- the burial of our students’ leader who died after a brief sickness. May he rest in peace.
