Both the students and staff of BVBIN & SWSE IBADAN offered this and many songs of praises unto God on February 22 as we see the beginning of Third Semester Classes happily and successfully.
19TH ANNUAL LEADERSHIP SEMINAR 2021:The 19th Annual Leadership Seminar held on March 24-26 in Doug Wheeler Hall was graced by over 150 church leaders from 13 States of the Federation (Oyo, Osun, Ogun, Ondo, Lagos, Kwara, Kogi, Edo, Delta, Kebbi, Taraba, Enugu and Rivers)Over 2000 copies of VOTI (volumes, 105,106&108) and Mission Printing International booklets, free gospel cassettes from West Olive congregation, AZ and packs of our local tracts were distributed freely to many of the congregations present. Some of the dignitaries that participated actively in the just concluded Leadership Seminar are: Bro. Ayobami Akanji (SWSE-Board Chairman) Bro. Mfon Etim (Director, BVBIN-IKORODU)Bro. Timothy Iwe (Director, BVBIN-LAGOS ISLAND)Bro.Samuel Nwuoka (Instructor, BVBIN-ENUGU STATE)Bro. Paul Akinwale (WBSFUW-OGUN STATE)Bro. Amos Olusegun (WBSFUW-OSUN STATE)Bro. Olorode Babatunde (representing Bro. Abiola Joseph Olusoji, Director-BVBIN, Agege, Lagos state), others include: Bro.Taiwo Sunday, Bro. Otuwo Brain, and many others.
In addition, graduates of BVBIN & SWSE-Ibadan such as Bro. Emmanuel Godwin, Bro.Okoro Chinyere and Bro. Samuel Oladokun moderated the Three-Day Seminar while Bro. Ohaebuka Philemon, Bro. Akilapa Samuel and Bro. Akinyoola Michael served as our songs leaders.
WEEKEND EVANGELISM / CAMPAIGNS: In spite of our tight schedule, our weekend evangelism/ campaigns were effective in the six centers as our tradition -Bro. Oke Michael and his group evangelized Butubutu village and environment throughout the weekend in the months of February through third weeks of April. Bro. Iyesele Ifeanyi and his group evangelized Jago, Kupalo and environment. Bro. Abel Asang (one of the students from English speaking area of Cameroon) and his group evangelized Badeku town .Bro. Idowu Jonathan and his group evangelized Egbeda town from Friday evening until Sunday evening. Bro. Ozie Thomas and his group evangelized Ajia town while Bro.Akinrinade Sunday and his group evangelized Igbo-Oloyin town. All in Oyo State. Over 2,500 WBS correspondence courses were freely shared during the month of February through April while about 2,000 were returned by the students and have been posted to WBSTC (c/o Bro. Joel Coppinger in California, USA).
SPECIAL ACCOMPLISHMENT: This quarter recorded great achievements – the Lord made these possible by the financial supports from both our supporters in USA and Nigeria. Firstly, we thank the Lord and all our supporters for the successful hosting of our 19th Annual Leadership Seminar of March 24-26.Secondly, the school was able to pay off her outstanding balance of N865, 000 being part of the money loaned in September 2019 for the upgrading of the school building. Thirdly, the Lord assisted us to complete the roofing of the auditorium of Ajia congregation, filling up the floor, digging of the soak-away and setting up the blocks for the soak away. Lastly, the South West Kiddies Academy blocks now wear a new look. To God be the glory and honor!
APPRECIATION: We deeply appreciate the Lord for His goodness and mercies towards us. We equally appreciate all our supporters (both home and abroad). And in particular – Bro. UPCOMING EVENTS: Lord’s willing, the BVBIN & SWSE, Ibadan will be working with her graduates and some preachers working in Ekiti State in the evangelization of Aramoko town in Ekiti State with the aim of planting the Lord’s church in that town of over two million populace without the Lord’s church from evening of May 2 through 9,2021.We appreciate the Austin Chapel congregation for their support towards this mission work.
CONCLUSION: We thank all our supporters in Nigeria and America for the moral and financial assistance rendered towards the growth of the Lord’s work in Nigeria. BVBID DEGREE PROGRAMME: Two of the Instructors (Bro. Makinde Ebens & Bro.Isaac Olaniyan) for the BVBID degree programme have been putting head together a week before the supplementary class of March 22-24 on Research and Writing-1.Seven out of the twelve students for the BVBID Degree Programme arrived on Sunday evening of March 21. By 8:00am on Monday, the course instructor, Bro. Isaac Olaniyan started the presentation on Research and Writing-1 following the MLA 8th Edition format and by Wednesday afternoon, the class was concluded to allow the degree students participate in the 19th Annual Leadership Seminar that was held in Doug Wheeler Hall, Butubutu Village Ibadan. Students present are Bro. Mfon Etim, Bro. Okoro Chinyere, Bro. Emmanuel Godwin, Bro. Shotola Segun, Bro. Unoke Onyekachi, Bro. Eze Mbaraoye and Bro. Fasonu Victor. We thank the BVBID team and Bro. Steven Ashcraft for giving us such a great privilege. May the Lord of blessing continue to bless the Board of Directors of BVBID, USA and their supporters. MARCH 24 – 26, 2021 LEADERSHIP SEMINAR (By Bro. Oke Michael Ayobamigbe)Over 150 church leaders witnessed the leadership program that came up between March 24- 26, 2021 from 13 states of the Federation in which all students and instructors were actively involved in the program.The program started with registration, followed by opening hymn and prayer at 02:30pm. The speakers on the first day were Bro. Makinde Ebens, Bro. Israel Tajomavwo, Bro. Guda Silas and Bro. Timothy Iwe. They spoke for 50 minutes each on the theme of the program: “SATAN AND HIS MISSION.” At 06:00pm, dinner was served, subsequently followed by evening devotion led by Bro. Tobi Emmanuel as the song leader while Bro. Mfon Etim delivered the sermon. During the course of the programme, the drama group also came up to present a short drama on the theme: “Satan and his Mission”. Light out at 11:45pm.Day 2 – Bro. Akinlapa Samuel was the song leader while Bro. Imbia Maxfield was the sermoner. We gathered for breakfast after that the opening hymn and prayer was said, while Bro. Ayobami Akanji, Bro. Ayobami Ogunjimi, Bro. Noel Brain Otuwo, Bro. Sunday Taiwo, Bro. Armstrong Pat-Okunbo were the speakers. We gathered for dinner by 6:30pm after which the devotion came up, Bro. Ajiteru Olufemi anchored the prayer section and light out was at 11:50pm.Day 3 – Bro. Oviri Careson was the song leader while Bro. Samuel Nwoeka was the sermoner. After this, breakfast was served. Followed by opening hymn and prayer – the speakers for the day were Bro. Victor Fasonu, Bro. Paul Akinwale, Bro. Adekunle Adeyemi and Bro. Adekunle Sunday. After the question/answer session, announcement, closing hymn, and prayer, group pictures followed by 3:34pm on Friday. We ate lunch and everyone departed to their various destinations with different gifts/packages. Lastly, we express our sincere gratitude to all the donors, moderators, interpreters, ushers, school management, school foundation and board members.

Prospective applicants must be faithful members of the Church of Christ and must possess at least a Secondary School Leaving Certificate with four Credits for Diploma Program, and a Diploma in Bible Related Courses from any of the Bible School organized by the members of The Church of Christ, for those applying for Advanced Diploma program. In addition, candidates must provide a letter of recommendation from the local church where the applicant placed his/her membership.
VOCATIONAL STUDIES AVAILABLE AT IBADAN – for two to three years are Modern Agric, Motor Mechanic, Carpentry & Joinery, Block & Concrete, Catering, Electrification, Computer, Graphic & Prints, Fashion Designing, NAPPMED, Aluminum & PVC Ceiling & Windows, etc. Examination and Interview for 2021/2022 Session will come up on July 10&24, 2021 @ Butubutu Village, Ibadan by 10:00am.Resumption Date for Successful Students: August 16, 2021 Lord’s Willing.
