Mojima Etokudo reports on the food and pallatives given in his area from generous supporters in the US.

Your generosity continues to help needy brethren in the hinterlands of Nigeria as palliative to cushion the effect of the Covid 19 pandemic.

The meeting point for the distribution of the palliative by the Shackle Island Church and other Staples was the Church of Christ meeting place, Ikot Akpa Idem village.

One of the beneficiary your palliative was a denominational church member who just stop by and participate, he was glad to be treated as one of the brethren in our distribution fomula without discrimination. Hopefully, he will come to the knowledge of Truth as we will follow up with him.

Below are items purchased from the Shackle Island Church Emergency Food Fund this time for needy brethren drawn from three local congregations of the Lord church as stated above:

5 Bags of Rice

5 Bags of Garri (wheat)

4 Cartons of Noodles and a Token of funds to help each of them with other Staples.

The beneficiaries express their appreciation, prayed for God’s blessings on the donors and went home rejoicing.

One of the newly baptized sister, a widows two little children who lost her husband recently also received a Hymnal from our stock. Thank you for donating funds to help in the purchase of Bibles and Hymnals to those who needs it to grow in their Christian Life. God bless you and yours.

Greet  all our brothers and sisters at the Shackle Island Church of Christ. Know that we mention you in our prayers daily.

The Akwa Ibom State government have lifted the ban on Sunday worship beginning April 7, 2020 but with all precautional measures,  Lord willing, we hope to have more worshippers and I plan to meet with our evangelism team (preachers) on Friday for mission update and strategy to further the cause of Christ and His kingdom in our rural areas. We need more of your prayers.

My wife Ekaette say hello.
